Our environment has a direct impact on our personal health and well-being. Healthy communities need clean air and a nontoxic environment, and this Self-Care Saturday will explore how sustainability and gardening can help create a healthy planet and a healthier you!

Learn about the personal and climate benefits of gardening and a sustainable lifestyle. Join Mosaic and our environmental campus partners SEAK and the Garden Club for a fun outdoor event! Join SEAK on a sustainability tour of campus and SU’s wildlife acreage, and work in the SU garden with the Garden Club!

All attendees will receive a plant cutting courtesy of the SU Garden Club. Attendees will also be entered into a drawing for an herb garden starter kit. Mosaic is Southwestern's co-curricular approach to holistic student development. We encourage you to engage mindfully in experiences outside of the classroom, reflect on those experiences, and articulate the value of those experiences to others. Our events are intentionally designed with these three practices in mind.
